AECOM Technology Corp. announced the following changes: Allen Crocker has been promoted to principal; Peter Brown, Milton Cobbs and Robert Strickland have been promoted to associate principal; and Michael Lauman, James Sledd and Michael Wright have been promoted to senior associate.
Walter Mendenhall joined Wiley Wilson as a senior engineer in the electrical engineering department.

J. Michael Duncan, Virginia Tech university distinguished professor emeritus of the Via Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, is the 2010 recipient of the G. Brooks Earnest Award and Lecture from the American Society of Civil Engineers Cleveland Section.
Laura Long, associate professor of English at Lynchburg College, was awarded a three-week fellowship at the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts.
