This podcast is a virtual porch pickin' session with four guys who started picking and singing together in an actual porch pickin' session. In nearly three years, Bebop Hoedown has become a mainstay on the Roanoke and New River Valleys nightclub and party circuit, doing what the members describe as a "jazzy, folky, grassy thing." Hang out with the podcast for a while as we talk with them about how they keep the music fun, and why it's better to play for a live audience, particularly at a private party. In case you didn't know, we've been doing these podcasts for a little while now. What are they? They're like radio shows in mp3 format. You can right click and hit "save target as" to download them to your computer or mp3 player, or just stream them by hitting the pointy thing in the RealPlayer box above right. If you want to get with the leading edge tech stuff, you can drag the XML button above left onto your news reader. Check out all our podcasts. Go to our message board and tell us what you think.
