PODCAST: Scott Perry
Open up your head to some amazing picking
This week we hang out with Scott Perry, a man who has made a career and a life out of making an ancient guitar form his own.
Taj Mahal's music made Perry say to himself: How do I get some more of that. He's been giving it back to audiences all over the place for years.
He finally settled in Floyd, where he has a music store and keeps himself on stages, holding onto the old forms while making sure to put plenty of himself into the music. Check him out.
In case you didn't know, we've been doing these podcasts for a little while now. What are they? They're like radio shows in mp3 format. You can right click and hit "save target as" to download them to your computer or mp3 player, or just stream them by hitting the pointy thing in the RealPlayer box above right. If you want to get with the leading edge tech stuff, you can drag the XML button above left onto your news reader.
