PODCAST: James Pace
Seems like this guy plays keys for everyone
James Pace could be the busiest keyboard banger in the Roanoke and New River Valleys.
Pace, 26, says his favorite gig to play is with the Non-Profits, a band that includes his brother, guitarist Cyrus Pace. But you can also find him on stages with The Pop Rivets, Kevin Selfe and the Tornadoes and others including the nascent Pace Brothers Organ Trio.
You can hear him working live with the Non-Profits this weekend at FloydFest. He says he'll also be playing with Eddy "The Chief" Clearwater at the Taste of The Blue Ridge Jazz and Blues Festival on Sept. 10. And he's pretty excited about his gig with Selfe, who also plays with Little Rodger and the Cheap Thrills.
