Entries for the wrapping paper design contest must be received by 5 p.m. Dec. 3.
It's that most wonderful time of the year ... when we're seeking fun designs to bring holiday cheer!
Inside Out is holding its sixth annual wrapping paper design contest for kids age 12 and younger.
We'd like to see designs with a holiday theme. There will be two winners, and if we choose yours, it will be turned into a sheet of newsprint "wrapping paper" for anyone to use.
HOW TO DRAW: The original drawing should work well if reduced to business card size (so it can be reproduced in repeating patterns).
Submit the design on an 8 1/2-by-11-inch piece of unlined paper, with the child's name, age, address and telephone number on the back.
WHO CAN ENTER: The contest is open to children age 12 and younger and only one entry per child, please.
We'll choose winners in two categories: age 6 and younger; and ages 7 to 12.
HOW TO SUBMIT: Mail the designs to Inside Out Wrapping Paper Contest, c/o Kathy Lu, P.O. Box 2491, Roanoke, VA 24010.
We prefer having the original designs versus a scanned version of it by email. Original designs will reproduce better.
Entries must be received by 5 p.m. Dec. 3. We'll publish the winner in the Dec. 13 edition of Inside Out.
Because of the volume of submissions, entries cannot be returned, so remember to make your own copy before mailing it. Happy drawing!
