Four arrested in meth lab bust in Daleville

Four people were arrested in Botetourt County on Monday after a 10-week investigation led deputies to a suspected methamphetamine lab, authorities said.

The four adult occupants of the Daleville home were arrested after a Sunday night seizure of the suspected meth lab with the help of a Virginia State Police tactical team, sheriff’s Maj. Delbert Dudding said.

Dudding declined to comment on the details of the investigation.

A 23-month-old child was found inside the Azalea Road home Sunday and taken to a hospital for evaluation before being taken into custody by child protective services, according to a news release issued by Botetourt County Sheriff Ronnie Sprinkle .

Brooke Wesleyan Bailey, 31, John David Campbell, 28, Jeremiah Travis Christley, 29, and Jessica Lynn Harmon, 30, were all charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine and manufacturing methamphetamine in the presence of a child, Sprinkle said.

The four remained at the Botetourt County Jail on Monday and were scheduled to be arraigned today in Botetourt County District Court.
