Police identify victim of fatal single-car wreck in Montgomery County
The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office on Wednesday released the name of a woman who died a day before after crashing her car.
The woman was Lilly Blanche Kanode, 84, of the Plum Creek community of Montgomery County, Capt. Brian Wright said.
Her car ran off the side of the road and through a fence in the 3200 block of Plum Creek Road just after 10 a.m. Tuesday, Wright said.
It is unclear, he said, whether a medical problem may have led to the single-vehicle crash. Her cause of death will be determined by an autopsy.
