Former employee charged in SpeeDee Oil Change burglary
The business had been burglarized, but police made a quick arrest. Although cash and other items were taken from the store, the burglar left behind a sizable amount of blood, according to police spokeswoman Teresa Hall. Detectives made calls to local hospitals and located a suspect Wednesday afternoon who is also a former employee of the store.
Ky Dietiker, a 29-year-old Roanoke man, is charged with burglary and grand larceny. He is being held in Roanoke County/Salem jail on $10,000 bond.
