When you sponsor area classrooms through NIE, 100% goes directly to purchasing daily newspapers for use by local teachers. Your investment in this community literacy and learning program demonstrates your commitment to investing in the families, work force, and leadership of the future.
Below are the levels of NIE sponsorship and the benefits that you will receive at each level:
Community Partner: $249 and below
Classroom Sponsor: $250 - $499
• A flyer thanking you/your business for sponsoring the classroom’s newspapers, which will go home with each child in the class.
• You/your business' name will be listed in a collective thank you ad that will run in The Roanoke Times one Sunday quarterly throughout the school year.
• Once per school year, you/your business will be listed as a sponsor on an insert in the NIE newsletter that is distributed to all participating teachers and schools.
• A certificate to display you/your business' level of participation in the program.
• The opportunity to visit the classroom(s) you sponsor.
Principal Sponsor: $500 - $999
• All Classroom Sponsor benefits.
• You/your business will be listed as a sponsor on nie.roanoke.com.
• You/your business' name will be listed in a collective thank you ad that will run in The Roanoke Times one Sunday per month throughout the school year.
Corporate Sponsor: $1,000 - $2,499
• All Classroom Sponsor and Principal Sponsor benefits.
• Your business' logo will be incorporated into the collective monthly thank-you ad.
• Your business' logo will be featured in NIE newsletters that will be distributed each school year.
• Your business' logo will be featured prominently on nie.roanoke.com as a program sponsor.
Regional Sponsor: $2,500 +
• All Classroom Sponsor, Principal Sponsor and Corporate Sponsor benefits.
• Your business' logo will appear on serial story curriculum, which is distributed to teachers during the school year of your sponsorship.
