In the region: Roanoke's women's soccer team stays unbeaten in ODAC
Stephanie Parenteau scored a goal and assisted on three more as Roanoke College dominated Randolph 4-0 in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference women's soccer contest Wednesday to remained unbeaten in conference play.
Carmen Graves scored twice, and Rebekah Adams capped the rout with a goal for the host Maroons (6-2-1, 4-0 ODAC).
In other women's soccer Wednesday:
W&L 2, Bridgewater 1
LEXINGTON - Haley Ward and Katherine Rush each scored unassisted goals as the Generals never trailed in handing the Eagles (6-3-1, 3-1-1) their first ODAC loss. W&L (6-2, 4-1) has outscored its five league foes 26-3 this season. Paxton Sauerwald's unassisted goal at 70:34 supplied the only goal for Bridgewater (6-3-1, 3-1-1).
E&H 5, Hollins 4, OT
The visiting Wasps (2-3, 3-6) scored in the extra period to end the ODAC marathon match and spoil a shot for Hollins (2-7, 0-4) to notch its first conference win of the season.
Ferrum 3, SVU 2
Kara Pegram netted a pair of goals, and Brittany Baker scored one as the Panthers (3-5) clipped the Knights in a nonconference match. Lora Palmer and Noelle Misewicz each had a goal for Southern Virginia (3-5).
