On The Edge
Dubstep has become extremely prominent in the teenage music scene.
This genre of typically voiceless electronic dance music is characterized by drums and bass along with intense melodies accented by montages of clipped samples. In layman's terms, dubstep could be considered an avant-garde mixture of electronic and reggae elements.
Dubstep, however, has not found its way into my heart. It is just a meaningless mixture of loud noises.
Yet, I must wear a mask. If one does not like dubstep, then he or she is an outsider.
I must solemnly salute to the dubstep overlord in the totalitarian state called teenage society. Sure, I'll dance to it sometimes, but it isn't worth listening to in the car every day.
